Getting the products to you

If you are purchasing our SI Shop warehoused product through our online shop, fax, email or calling us we will ship the goods to you via either Startrack Express for deliveries outside SE QLD or for local deliveries we will use Couriers Please or taxi truck. We will also work with your freight company if you choose.
If you are purchasing through our SI Direct model we will tailor the delivery according to your needs.
- If you want the goods delivered to one destination we will freight your goods direct from our factory in China to your door.
- If your project has several components made from multiple factories we will consolidate your project in China and then ship in bulk to your door.
- If your want your goods to be delivered to many stores across the country we will plan your final destinations in China packing and labeling for each store and then grouping according to location. We then ship to each of our 5 Distribution Centres across Australia and New Zealand. The containers are then destuffed and the packages are sent to the stores.
For more information view our pages on our SI Direct or contact us to discuss your needs.
What we need to quote your project
To get the lowest quote in the quickest time for you we need as much information that you can give us. Ideally if you can help out with everything listed below that would be great however sometimes this is not possible. Here is a selection of things we need to achieve the best quote for you.
- Detailed drawings, if no drawings...
- Sample, if no sample...
- Photos marked up with measurements.
- Sometimes we can send our engineer to a site to draw up your project (cost involved)
- If it is a new idea please give us the best description and sketches you can. We can do the manufacturing drawings and make a sample prior to production for your approval.
- The quantity you require?
- Is this a one time project or regular orders?
- When do you need it?
- How are we sending it, to one destination or many?
- Is the material important to the project? If so what material do you need for example if it is plastic is it ABS, PP, HIPS etc? If the material is not important we will quote on what we suggest.
- Is the quality more important than price or visa versa? Our production systems always produce good quality however a good quality fixture designed for a discount store is completely different to a good quality fixture designed for a luxurious fashion store.
Lead Times and Order Cut Off Times
For SI Shop if you place your order before 10:30AM it will be dispatched the same day. We will try to dispatch orders received after 10.30am but this cannot be guaranteed. If your order/enquiry is urgent, please contact us so we can help.

QUALITY ASSURANCE – SI DIRECT
SI Retail implements and manages a Quality Assurance Program at multiple stages of communication and production.
The most important and yet widely ignored step in the quality assurance of a project is the conveyance of the "Customer's Intent" to the factory floor. We all know what happens when an idea is told to someone and it is passed on down the line and the person at the other end hears a completely different message to the original.
We consider the customer's Intent for a project to be the most important part of the manufacturing process. We ensure the preparation of your project, whether it be a single item or a major program, is extensively detailed at the front end and our communication prior to production with you and the factory enables your intentions to be conveyed as you want them through the cultural and language differences.
- High importance to customer's intentions
- Extensive detail at the front end to ensure Quality Assurance
- Confirmation Assurance
- Carefully ensure quality of communication through culture and language
- Consistency and continuity of projects
At several stages of our Communication Management Process (CMP) we apply Confirmation Assurance (CA) steps to your project beginning at the initial enquiry from you right through all stages of production until delivered and your satisfaction
All our qualified retail support manufacturers work together with our overseas Operations Team to ensure consistency and continuity of projects. The team have full access to all areas of the factory floor conducting pre, mid and post production inspections all the time ensuring the customer's intent is carried through. This level of interaction is well accepted and appreciated by the factories as their goal is to complete the projects with the highest customer satisfaction.
Our Quality Assurance Program dissolves cultural and language walls taking your projects from inspiration to creation as you intended.
